Germishuizen's paintings portray her love of nature in all its various forms.
"the energy, textures and light of it all!" as she explains how her inspiration comes from nature.
Watercolor is her favorite medium, allowing her to use various techniques, as she pursues the challenge and excitement of creating with this illusive medium. Acrylics also come into play.
Apart from wonderful direction from her various art teachers, she recognises the influence of great artists such as Monet, Turner, O'Keefe and many others.
Over the years Germishuizen has exhibited in several Solo and Group Exhibitions, in various countries.
